Kare-Kare

as requested by ate Melissa (draft)

Ingredients: peanut butter, ground achuete, liempo 2kls, onions, garlic, eggplant, banana heart, string beans, oil for frying, bagoong

Preparation:

1. Chopping and Slicing
Pork
string beans and banna heart













eggplant










Onions and garlic


















2. Saute garlic, onions and pork




Browned Pork
3. Add Ground Acheute


4. Add water. Cook pork until tender




5. Add string beans and banana heart


6. After a few min. add Eggplant

6. Dissolve peanut butter in water






















7. Add the peanut butter and cook the dish for a few min.  and voila!

Ready for eating (actually may lumantak na hehe)
Mangan tana! Don't forget the Bagoong!

salamat ng marami! uy, 2 kgs meat for the family or for the resto? Nweys,you do know that I dont eat pork so will substitute it with beef tripes. Have also barrio fiesta bagoong na..peanut butter spread - can I use this? Big problem for me is where to find atchuete!

2kgs for the carinderia hehe,yap ate you can use peanut butter spread, the one in the picture is cheap (P5 each) since we're minimizing the cost of the dish.. more request ate,para sipagin akong gumising ng maaga haha

ha? connect ng recipe at paggising ng maaga? para mamalengke or what? Atchuete,saan ba kita makikita dito sa Dubai?
maybe next week will try this recipe. wala time to go to meat shop eh. baka yung groceries dun meron sila atchuete? mostly customers kasi nila Pinoy...so u can find there toyo, suka, ginisa mix, etc..
