June 30, 2010 has been declared as special non-working holiday due to inauguration of Philippines
Good news for students, giving them a break from school and be just kids at home or avid gamers at net café or teens with lots of gimmicks with friends.
The impending inauguration actually excites me not only because another President comes from my province Tarlac but mostly because the said inauguration would be star-studded. Lots of intrigues would definitely fill up the tabloids. So ironic when in comes to politics the raging network wars takes a backseat as their stars from both camps ABSCBN and GMA would definitely attend the inauguration. For the first time in our political history-the Politics, Church and Showbiz unites. The result of the merger hopefully would not end up in disaster.
I toast for a better country for the next six years and may President Noynoy Aquino be as good as he promised. In line with this it is appropriate that we should get to know our new president. Below is a short profile of President Noynoy Aquino.
Noynoy Aquino is:
- First unmarried president
- Has no children
- 2nd president from Tarlac the first of course her mother Former Pres. Cory Aquino.
- Graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a course of Bachelor's degree in Economics
- 50 years old
- He is a smoker
- Aquino will be the second president not to drink alcohol, the first president not to drink alcohol was Emilio Aguinaldo.
- Aquino is currently in a relationship with Shalani Soledad, a 30-year-old Valenzuela City councilor and niece of former Senator Francisco Tatad
- Aquino had a previous relationship with Korina Sanchez, Bernadette Sembrano and Diana Zubiri.
