Luv the term, thus from now on this shop would prefer to use "bubwit"  instead of mouse

Anyone with concern with "our bubwits"  would refer to it as stated if not well...you'll be ignored

My New Size

                  My get together with batchmates of nutritionist made me realize that I've been wasting a lifetime of knowledge. I'm always the rebel that does not practice what I should be doing, common sense dictates that at least for myself I should be benefiting from 5 years of studying what foods to eat,yet still it's an everyday struggle for me. Ok so fast forward, don't want to bore u with other nonsense awakening things, (coz I've been doing that alot lately...)

So this is me now, after 1 month of dieting
from 65 kg to 58 kg
BMI: 26.2 (pre-obese based on WHO classification) to 23.2(normal)
BMI for normal weight 18.5-24.99
yay! i got in!!!

             Since I'm in celebratory mood, guess what I'm doing now!!! lol

Longganisa Pasta

I'm sick today not really the worse kind thank God, so as usual when i"m sick I crave for lots of food to regain my strength , and today I crave for Pasta, but I don't want the usual type with lots of spaghetti sauce I prefer the "sosy" type of Pasta with fresh tomatoes instead of the preservative packed tomato sauce by Del Monte. For today I want a taste and smell of Paris and with a little help of basil leaves that will capture it all.


Too bad no one is here to cook for me, but still with a complaining stomach I got up and fix my own special dish. So surprising that I have enough energy to cook, food is my only driving force.  And for those who want a share of my food? well,  eat at your own risk, did I just told you I'm sick?

So this dish is Longganisa Pasta

Ingredients for the Sauce

plus butter and cheese....no pic (just got lazy)

Oil- 3 T, butter 2 T, 6 pcs boiled longganisa, 1 bell pepper (seeds removed), onion, garlic, pepper, 1/ 4 kg tomatoes, 2 T basil leaves, cheese (based on your preference,for me the more the better), 2 T sweet blend tomato ketchup

1. Chop everything except of course the longganisa ( better in bite size)
2. Fry everything in oil,( much better if olive oil), I added butter during cooking ,
3. Since I like sweet taste of spaghetti instead of adding sugar I added 2 Tbsp sweet blend tomato catsup.
3. Put the dried basil leaves last so as not to lose the wonderful aroma (tip: the aroma actually pisses off mosquitoes and flies)
3. Garnish with Cheese.
4. The look? it should be oily with tint of reddish color due to tomatoes.

   Ingredients for the Pasta:

1/4 kilo pasta (since I don't intend to share lol)

For the Pasta, just cook in boiling water with a pinch of salt and oil.
Remove from heat when it reached al dente state (not mushy). Drain and wash with cold water. 



Lastly, Mix the Pasta and the Sauce and Enjoy!!!

    Please don't mind the big onions lol, can't think of a better garnish (coz i'm sick I'm suppose to be resting not thinking,lol)

SPAIN WINS WORLD CUP 2010

     Spain wins its first World Cup 1-0 against Netherlands

         Thanks to Paul the Octopus which chose the Spain's Tank over Netherland's. Regardless of the oracle, I cheered for Spain to win and voila!


 
The mestizos deserve the win over the dirty dutch.

       Andres Iniesta's knock-out goal  paved the way for Spain's Victory. And additional pogi points for him as he removed his t-shirt and paid tribute to his team mate who just died from heart attack. His shirt on this pic shows this message  "Dani Jarque siempre con nosotros,"when translated  "Dani Jarque always with us"

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS TRAILER

Must watch trailer of the last Harry Potter Installment!!!



The Final Harry Potter Movie is cut into two parts ; The Search for the Horcruxes and The Battle of Hogwarts. First part will be shown this November then part 2 will be on July 2011.

           The trailer is epic!!!, Can't wait for the movie. This screencap specifically gave me the goosebumps!

                The Hogwarts in ruins and dead bodies surround Harry Potter as he clash with Voldemort.

Pres. NOYNOY gets a Doll

If Noy gets a doll definitely his sister Krissy should have one too, and voila, a miniature version of Kris Aquino pops up. It seems that Krissy eagerly fills up the empty spot for First Lady as both dolls are the give-away items for the Inaugural of President-elect Noynoy Aquino. So eat your heart out Shalani, don’t expect wedding bells too soon…hmmm maybe after 6 years lol.

                    I could never imagine a normal guy wants a doll of his own. But I guess our president is different. Being the only son in the family, he may have been pushed a lot by his sisters. And we see on the news how his attire and fashion is mainly dictated by his sisters. I just hope that when it comes to political decisions, he is not a doll that can be controlled easily. 

Maybe the doll is not actually a bad idea if we overlook the mockery and the jokes that are circulating the web which heightens the issue of sexuality of our president. These dolls will be inscribed in our history books as they will be part of an important political event. Therefore these novelty items would definitely become a collector’s item in the near future. And if this thing becomes a fad then you can expect replica of these dolls in Quaipo at much cheaper price but nothing beats the original of course.

The dolls are cute but they hardly look like the president especially the hair, maybe it’s the future look of the president, after 6 years he will suddenly transform to this man with generously thick hair and puffy cheeks.  Well I highly doubt that, with the problems he will be facing in running our country the least of his problem is his hair.

And for Kris Aquino doll , it captured the eyes and the rest is hypocrisy. I would prefer a Jolina magdangal’s doll over this one…or not. Kris could never be simple like that wearing even a black shirt and pants. She lives an imeldific lifestyle with gowns that she always shows off on her shows, nevertheless we accepted and liked her coz there’s no one like her in showbiz. She kept us entertain with all her drama and issues that hopefully won’t rub off to Noynoy.

           

            Aside from dolls, umbrella, fans and watches are also to be given away for the guests. There are 4500 invitations distributed for the President’s Inauguration. Guest includes dignitaries, justices, diplomatic corps, and high ranking officials of our government. 

                    

            Some of the watches with the comic image of Noynoy and Cory will be sold for 450 each during the inauguration. The income generated will go to the Ninoy Cory Aquino Foundation. 

No Classes for the President’s Inaguration that is something to look forward to.
