Paying DUES

Pnoy who started the speech with complaints now robs us the pleasure of complaining by stating this:

PNoy: Humakbang mula sa pakikialam tungo sa pakikilahok. Dahil ang nakikialam, walang-hanggan ang reklamo. Ang nakikilahok, nakikibahagi sa solusyon.

This could be the highlight of his speech but the essence of the message already ruined by his whining at the beginning of his SONA tsk..tsk.

So being a nice Filipino citizen ( nice meaning  –no criminal records whatsoever) . I’ll continue my patriotic duty to pay my taxes regardless if it would just end up on another’s already bulky pocket or payment to our country’s debt.

Three percent off my income for my peace of mind. I don’t like the feeling of guilt of running an illegal business ( illegal- not registered) even though it is situated in a place where legalities or lack of documents are not questioned (no checking).  So if I feel guilty of “not paying” , how come others do not feel guilty “for stealing” ?  Tolerance. The more we get away with things , the bolder we get to do worse.

Anyway , somehow, someday we all gonna have to pay our dues. Remember we are all being watched, coz whiners are everywhere and we had just elected one ,lol

it's not whining, it's merely stating the nation's current situation which he inherited so to speak. it will help set and manage expectations of the people. plus the concept isn't that original, i think it's loosely derived from this, if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem. ;)

am proud of you for going legal! so cheers to you! :)
